Prototype: Crane car with a crane tender car and an equipment car with a built-in, red train marker lantern in a fictitious design of Deutsche Bahn Gleisbau GmbH (DBG) as it might have looked starting in 2006. As recently as 2006, the DBG – a subsidiary of German Railroad (DB AG) – was still using tried and tested, almost vintage, crane construction trains including the associated equipment cars with their traditional, red train marker lantern for its local “Az” services (“Az” = “Arbeitszug” (Work train)). From 2006 onwards, these services were carried out using Henschel type DHG 700 diesel locomotives, which were operated as the class 367 in the DBG fleet. This loco is available in the range as item 36702.

Model: This is a model of a crane car with built-in mini-geared motors and a special version of the mfx digital decoder for controlling the crane in digital operation. The crane tender car comes with a boom support. The power pickup shoe is mounted on the crane car, which means that the crane tender car can also be uncoupled from the crane car. The set also includes an equipment car in the classic ocean blue paint scheme with a built-in, red train marker lantern. The cars have Relex couplers.
Total length over the buffers 32.3 cm / 12-11/16".
