Length 2 x 1/2 = 2 x 90 mm / 3-9/16". Continuous contact through wheel sets on locomotives / cars. The two track sections have an insulated rail section for track occupation feedback signal when a train is passing over them. The contact area can be lengthened with regular straight and curved track sections.

With five radii for curves, flex track, wide radius turnouts and wide angle crossings, elegant model railroad routes, narrow track spacing, and gentle curves can be done with Märklin H0 K Track. The prototypical solid rails, finely engraved ties without a roadbed, and the possibility of doing below-the-baseboard mounting of turnout mechanisms offers all kinds of freedom for naturally realistic design.
