An oncoming train light changes over with the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free, warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. There is a buffer capacitor. The locomotive has separately applied grab irons. The interior details of the cabs and engine room are done in relief. There is a figure of an engineer seated in Cab 1. The locomotive is lightly weathered. Brake hoses and prototype coupler imitations are included for separate installation on the locomotive.
